The Boston Printmakers
Founded in 1947, the North American Print Biennial is recognized as one of the most prestigious events in printmaking. The 2026 edition is juried by Esther Adler, Curator at MoMA. The exhibition promotes excellence and innovation in the field, accepting original works in all printmaking media. Selected works will be exhibited at the 808 Gallery at Boston University and are eligible for purchase prizes which are placed into permanent museum collections.
$10,000 in juror-designated purchase prizes and materials awards, placement in permanent collections at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and other institutions, and exposure through art sales.
Open to North American artists 18 years and older. Entries must be original prints completed between 2023 and 2026. Photographs, offset reproductions, or reproductions of artwork produced in other media are not eligible. Specific framing, shipping, and commission (35%) terms apply.
Artists must submit up to three digital images of original prints through the Call for Entry (CaFE) website (artist.callforentry.org) by the deadline of February 15, 2026.
