Artadia
The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure and recognition to artists. The awards are unrestricted, allowing artists to use the funds in any way they choose. Each year, an open-call application is made available in partner cities. Supporting artists equitably is a critical part of the process, reflecting diversity in the Awardee pool. In addition to financial support, Awardees participate in the Artadia Network for connections and resource sharing and receive a dedicated webpage on Artadia’s online Artist Registry.
Three Awardees receive $15,000 in unrestricted funds and access to the Artadia Network. Honorariums are provided to Finalists not chosen as Awardees.
Applicants must be contemporary visual artists making work for a contemporary art context. Must be currently living and working in NYC and have resided there for at least two consecutive years. Must not be currently enrolled in an art-related degree program. Must not have received a previous Artadia award of $10,000 or more.
Applications must be submitted through the Submittable platform. The process involves an open call, application review by a jury, and virtual studio visits for finalists.
