The Guild of Boston Artists
The New England Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by regional artists who work in the realist tradition. Accepted media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, scratchboard, pen and ink, and pencil. Preference is given to work done from life. Artists receive 55% of the sale price if the work is sold. The show takes place at the historic President's Gallery at the Guild's Newbury Street location.
Selected artists will exhibit in the historic President's Gallery; various cash prizes awarded for first, second, and third place, as well as merit and specific category awards.
Artists must reside in the region. Work must be representational with a strong academic background. Prints, kits, and AI generated art are prohibited. All works must be for sale and appropriately framed (no metal or unframed works).
