About the Open Call

Anyone and everyone is welcome to enter an original design that shows the artist’s creative skills and captures the spirit of the Fair. The contest features an Adult Division and a Youth Division (school-aged). Top designs will be selected by a committee and then put to a public vote on Facebook. Winning designs will be produced as official merchandise for the 2026 Kansas State Fair.

What is Offered

Prizes include: winning design sold as official merchandise, free t-shirts, Fair Family Packages (gate passes, ride cards, food coupons), tickets to Grandstand concerts, food gift certificates for the 1861 Club, and Certificates of Award.

Requirements

Design must contain '2026' and 'Kansas State Fair'. Designs can be drawn, printed, or digital (vector artwork preferred). Max dimensions 12x12 inches. Entries must be original; AI use is limited to 10% and must be disclosed. Winning design becomes property of the Foundation.

Email your design to info@ksfgf.org with your Full Name, Mailing address, Phone number, Email, Division (Youth or Adult), and any comments on the design, including disclosure of specific use of generative A.I.
