Honeywell Arts & Entertainment
The Honeywell Annual Fine Art Competition is hosted at the Clark Gallery in the Honeywell Center. The gallery hosts 10+ exhibits per year and sees over 170,000 annual guests. The competition accepts Painting, Drawing, and Other Art Forms (excluding photography, which has its own competition). Artwork must be original and completed within the last five years. Accepted artists will have their work on display for approximately one month. Works may be offered for sale, with the organization retaining a 20% commission.
Cash prizes: Best of Show ($200), and 1st ($125), 2nd ($100), and 3rd ($75) place prizes for Painting, Drawing, and Other categories. Six honorable mentions are also awarded. Sales commission is 80% to the artist.
Works must be original and completed within the last five years. Must not have been previously shown at Clark Gallery. All wall-hung entries must be framed and wired (or gallery-wrapped). Three-dimensional work must be stable and meet size restrictions (max 8.5 ft tall, 2 ft depth, 5 ft wide). Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance during transit. No photography is allowed in this specific competition.
