About the Open Call

WHITE WAVE invites applications to the 25th Anniversary DUMBO Dance Festival (DDF), held from June 26th-28th, 2026. The festival highlights diverse dance works at the Taylor Dance East Theatre. Each company or choreographer may submit up to two works for consideration. Performances are categorized into group works (up to 9 minutes) and solos (up to 5 minutes), including set-up and strike time.

Requirements

Works must be within time limits (9 mins for groups, 5 mins for solos). Applicants must provide a video URL of the work. Each choreographer/company is limited to two submissions, with a separate fee for each.

How to Apply

Submit the application via the Google Form and pay the non-refundable application fee ($90 for regular, $100 for regular plus Grand Finale consideration) through the White Wave Network for Good payment link. The form requires contact information, production details (including a video URL of the work), and biographical/demographic information.
