About the Open Call

The residency program at Sheepscot Arts Preserve is designed for artists working with a visually narrative or visionary arc. Located in rural Alna, Maine, the preserve provides a space for creative development in an environment with changeable weather and limited proximity to stores. The program includes opportunities for individual residencies, group residencies, and site-specific installations. Applicants are encouraged to review the land acknowledgement and the organization's focus on narrative and visionary art before applying.
