CRIPtic Arts provides four artist development projects designed for disabled creatives. Reach supports emerging writers to develop solo shows via online workshops and residentials. Launchpad is a staging scheme for theatre makers to develop work for The Acts showcase. Breakthrough offers a commission for UK creatives ready to enter the mainstream. Incubate facilitates emerging disabled arts leaders to build their practice or launch organisations. The 2026 vision focuses on supporting disabled people to tell ambitious stories beyond disability-centric narratives.

What is Offered

Includes commissions, staging opportunities at The Acts, online workshops, peer-facilitated sessions, residentials, industry sharing, and leadership development support.

Requirements

Applicants must be disabled (facing disableist/audist barriers or identifying as deaf or disabled). The Breakthrough commission is specifically for UK-based creatives or companies.
