About the Open Call

Contemporary Art Gallery Online is hosting its 11th annual cityscape-themed competition. Artists are invited to submit representational and non-representational art depicting cities, towns, and urban scenes. The competition is judged across four categories: Paintings/Drawings, Photography/Digital Art, Mixed Media, and 3D Work. Computer-enhanced or AI-created art must be disclosed. Winners will be featured in a group show online and at the Ramsey Art Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland.

What is Offered

Online and physical gallery exhibition, digital award certificates, gallery memberships, Zoom interviews for selected winners, and extensive marketing coverage.

Requirements

Work must be original and available for sale. Open to all 2D and 3D artists regardless of experience. Art that has won previous competitions is ineligible. High-resolution files are required.

How to Apply

Submit entries via the online competition entry form. Files must be titled in the format: Artist's Name, Art Title, Medium Used, Size, Price, and Year. Images must be JPG files between 10 MB and 25 MB.
