National Academy of Design
The Abbey Mural Prize is a grant opportunity for mural projects that contribute to the history and lineage of murals. Applicants must have selected a Lead Artist, secured a location with legal permission, and provided a detailed project description covering concept, imagery, materials, and community engagement. The project must be located in a public space or a building owned by a 501(c)(3) organization. Projects must begin before June 30, 2027.

Applications must be submitted through the official Formstack portal. Applicants are encouraged to prepare their materials in a saved document first. Required materials include a signed letter of commitment, project description, renderings, lead artist bio, CVs for participating artists, examples of past work, and a balanced project budget.
