Center for Creative Photography
The Center for Creative Photography (CCP) invites applications for its 2026-2027 Fellowship cycle. The program supports a wide range of interdisciplinary projects including research into specific artists like Josef Breitenbach, Todd Walker, Ansel Adams, Kenneth J. Botto, and Mickey Pallas, as well as general photographic history and theory. Available fellowships include the Josef Breitenbach Research Fellowship, Todd Walker Research Fellowship, Ansel Adams Research Fellowship, Kenneth J. Botto Research Fellowship, Photographic Arts Council - Los Angeles (PAC-LA) Research Fellowship, Harold Jones and Frances Murray Research Fellowship, Michael Hawley Artist Research Fellowship, and Mickey Pallas Research Fellowship.
Awards ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 to support research and travel costs related to the Center's collections.
The CCP Fellowship program encourages applicants who can bring new and critical approaches to the Center’s collections. Proposals for academic, artistic, or public interest projects are welcome. Selection is based on a specific fellowship assessment rubric.
