The Ingram Collection
The Ingram Prize is an annual purchase prize open to visual artists who are within five years of graduation from a UK-based art school. This year marks ten years of the Ingram Prize, established in 2016 by The Ingram Collection to celebrate and support artists at the beginning of their professional careers. It's completely free to enter, in any size or media. The exhibition will take place at Unit 1 Gallery | Workshop in London. Three artists will be selected as recipients of the Ingram Prize, with their shortlisted work acquired for The Ingram Collection. One recipient will also be offered a solo exhibition in 2026 at Lightbox Gallery & Museum. The selection panel for the 10th edition includes Jo Baring (Director of The Ingram Collection), Kate Davies (Director of the David and Indrė Roberts Collection and the Roberts Institute of Art), Permindar Kaur (artist), and David Remfry (artist). Additional opportunities for 2025 include: - Founder’s Award: Chris Ingram will personally select one work for acquisition for The Ingram Collection. - London Art Fair 2026: VIP Lounge Exhibition curated by Jo Baring, showcasing work by two selected artists. - Professional Practice Day: Talks by industry specialists for all finalists, hosted by The Ingram Collection at the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art in January 2026. - Residencies: Two opportunities in 2026: The Residency with CURA Art at Villa Lena in Tuscany, Italy (championing women-identifying artists), and the inaugural Artist in Residence programme at West Horsley Place, Surrey.
