2025 Henki Art Prize

About the Open Call

The 2025 Henki Art Prize invites artists to reflect on the theme "Camminare," exploring resilience, transformation, and forward momentum, as inspired by Pope Francis's metaphor about water and movement. Submissions must also explore or respond to the element of water. The prize aims to recognize artists and foster critical engagement with water in contemporary art through an international online platform. All media are accepted, including painting, sculpture, photography, and digital or video-based works.

What is Offered

The winner will receive $500 USD. Each of the other shortlisted artists will receive $125 USD. Selected artists will have opportunities to be featured in Henki Art’s 3D online group exhibition, on Henki Art’s gallery webpage, and on social media.

Requirements

Submitted artwork must be related to the theme "Camminare" and explore or respond to the element of water (physical forms or conceptual dimensions). All media are accepted, including painting, sculpture, photography, and digital or video-based works. Video works must not exceed 5 minutes in length. Artists from all over the world are welcome to enter. All entries must be original and solely created by the artist. Only one entry per artist is allowed, and artwork must have been created within the last two years. Applicants must be 18 or older.
