About the Open Call

THE PATH OF SYMBOLS – IV edition of Baroque Blue SeArt Residency 2025. Contemporary Arts in the Nature curated by Dores Sacquegna. Water Path: On the trail of Great Mother (From 20 September to 04 October 2025 ). ADRIATIC SEA: Torre dell’Orso (Melendugno -Lecce), Italy. The 4th edition of BAROQUE BLUE returns in September 2025, confirming and strengthening the event’s role as an essential event for the enhancement of contemporary art in a scenario that is renewed in each edition. The project – produced by Primo Piano LivinGallery and curated by Dores Sacquegna , testifies to the success and continuity of the project, which has been welcomed with great participation by the local community and cultural operators in the area who actively collaborate on the program. PPLG welcomes international artists invited to leave their mark by being inspired and contaminated by the social and landscape fabric of Salento. It offers , also, the opportunity to interact with local artists and observe the creative process live, bringing the public closer to contemporary art to experience art in a fascinating context during the summer. The artists will be in residency at a private villa in Torre dell’Orso marina. SALENTO – Our Puglia region and Salento Peninsula is surrounded by ancient legends and breathtaking turquoise waters, encourages you to get in touch with your inner archetype, and explore your creative boundaries and overcome artistic fears. This trip is not only about creating artwork, but also about unleashing your potential, which will lead you from inspiration to expressive works, while creating lasting friendships and memories in a treasured artistic community. What is Offered

We provide residents housing fully stocked with air conditioning and close to the sea, guided tours and excursions, materials to work with, meals, workshops and much more. It also offers the opportunity to interact with local artists and observe the creative process live, bringing the public closer to contemporary art.
